Après plus d’un an de production effrénée, A-Link nous dévoile son premier EP physique “Global Warning”.

Soucieux des problématiques environnementales actuelles, l’artiste exprime à travers ce projet la nostalgie d’un monde où l’insouciance des dégâts de l’Homme sur son habitat régnait : une forme de solastalgie. Appuyés par des titrages de morceaux fort de sens, ils décrivent des états d’esprit, sensations ou encore réflexions sur les actions à entreprendre aujourd’hui.

Cette ambiance mélancolique, réalisée à l’aide de grilles d’accords jazzy et de synthés aux sonorités rétro et rêveuses, est la pierre angulaire de ce disque, parfois planante, parfois énergique, qui représente à merveille l’univers d’A-Link.

Ce projet est sublimé par notre ami Maxime Génier qui transcrit parfaitement l’esprit de ce vinyle.

After more than a year of frenzied production, A-Link unveils his first physical EP, "Global Warning"

Mindful of current environmental issues, the artist expresses through this project a sense of nostalgia, for a world where the carefree disregard of humanity's impact on its habitat prevailed - a form of solastalgia. Supported by meaning-laden track titles, they describe states of mind, sensations, and thoughts on the actions to be taken today.

This melancholic atmosphere, crafted with jazzy chord progressions and retro/dreamy synth sounds, serves as the cornerstone of this record, at times ethereal, at times energetic, perfectly representing A-Link's universe.

This project is elevated by our friend Maxime Génier, who flawlessly captures the essence of this vinyl.
